Step behind the scenes of Tenuta di Montechiaro, a historic family estate owned by the Griccioli family since 1760. Your private guided tour begins in our original 1810 cellar, continues through the ancient olive mill, and reveals the history, traditions and organic philosophy that have shaped our wines for generations. As part of this exclusive experience, you'll also visit our historic Malvasia Nera vineyard—the estate's most iconic single vineyard. Discover this rare native Tuscan varieties where it grows, learn why it is considered one of Montechiaro's greatest treasures, and explore the unique marine fossil soils that give our wines their remarkable character.
