to be sipped while admiring the view of the Florentine hills and in the company of the sounds of nature!
A "no timer" experience, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves that produce some of the products served. An oasis far from the frenetic historic center where you can recharge with a slow Agri-breakfast , as if it were a half-day ritual, not just a quick stop...

Opening hours
The breakfast room and buffet are open from 8.15am to 10.00am .
After 10:00 a.m., you can stay at Poggiopiano as long as you like and take the opportunity to stroll through the vineyard, read in the garden, or play one of our board games.

Our kitchen is not certified for gluten-free preparations, but upon your request, we will prepare your Agri-colata gluten-free, trying to minimize contamination.

The passion for the land, for good wine and olive oil led the Galardi Brothers to buy Poggiopiano in 1935: a turning point in the history of the family, which has since been dedicated to the production of oil and wine and to the construction of mechanical equipment for the production of cereals, wine and oil.
In 1985 Mauro Galardi, in his early twenties, put his passion for wine and oil to good use for his profession, studying as a self-taught.
Mauro still today, together with his daughter Martina, is keen to talk about the family management and the commitment to preserve traditions while welcoming innovations and progress.
The vineyards and olive groves extend over 17 hectares, at an altitude of 150 meters above sea level. On the lean, marl and calcareous soils, the productions are limited in quantity, but qualitatively important. Exposure to the sun determines a particularly favorable microclimate and the absence of humidity stagnation minimizes parasitic attacks. This favors a low environmental impact agronomic management, certified organic for 20 years now and flanked by the use of renewable energy sources and the study of packaging materials.
