This comprehensive experience begins with a scenic walk through our lush vineyards in Cervognano. As you stroll among the vines, our knowledgeable guide will explain the meticulous care and sustainable practices that go into cultivating our grapes. Learn how the unique microclimate and soil composition of Montepulciano shape the flavors and qualities of our wines.

The tour then transitions to our cellar, where you'll witness the transformation of these carefully nurtured grapes into exquisite wines. Delve into the details of our production processes, from fermentation to barrel aging, and discover how we marry tradition with modern techniques to create wines of exceptional quality.

Conclude your tour with an expanded tasting session, featuring five of our distinguished wines. This selection includes our celebrated Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Vino Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, our IGT wines and a fifth prized bottle specially opened for the occasion, allowing you to fully appreciate the diversity and richness of our offerings.

Priced at €30 per person, this immersive tour lasts approximately two hours, providing ample time to savor each moment and each sip. However, should you decide to purchase our wines directly or place an order for at least six bottles for shipping, we will waive the tasting fee as a gesture of our appreciation.

Combarbia is an authentic family-run winery deeply connected to its origins, that tries to make the most of respect for its land.

Our company was founded at the beginning of the sixties, on the initiative of Novilio Mariani, who, having settled with his family in the Cervognano area and precisely in what is indicated in the ancient cadastral maps as "Villa Elvira", was the first to dedicate his family, to the production of wine. The Cervognano area has in fact been known since ancient times with the ancient Etruscans for its natural predisposition to the cultivation of vines.

THE MEANING BEHIND A NAME "Combarbia" signifies more than just a name. It literally means "crossroads," a place where paths converge and diverge. In the Tuscan dialect, to "go to the Combarbia" meant gathering, often in rooms adjacent to the village church, to enjoy a carefree evening together after a hard day's work, sharing wine and stories, and rejuvenating both body and spirit. This profound meaning inspires our company philosophy and our vision of wine as a symbol of peace and a special moment of sharing among people.
