The Il Cocco company,
it is located 5 km from Montalcino, on the southern side and is one of the smallest companies in the area famous for Brunello.
Since the 2000s, Biological has stood out for having maintained its identity over the years: convinced organic and micro-production (10,000 bottles in total per year).
Today Giacomo , the all-round owner, continues to experiment and improve the approach to natural agriculture through trials and intuitions.
The tasting in the cellar is a way to talk about the denominations, the specifications and how a wine is made, visiting all the rooms where the vinification and aging of our wines takes place.
A tour to discover the secrets of the cellar, to discover how an organic wine is the same or different from conventional ones in order to leave more aware of what you drink
The wines will be tasted during the walk inside the cellar, passing through the barrels, the steel, the bottling room and then the labeling and storage room
The wines for tasting (3 types, including Brunello ) are combined with tastings of local products and chocolate with a duration of approximately 1 hour and a half
CANCELLATION POLICY:
(Legislative Decree 6 September 2005, n. 206) In case of no show, the az. Agr. Il Cocco di Bindi Giacomo will charge the entire amount of the reservation at the end of the visit. The Il Cocco company is one of the smallest companies in Montalcino and was one of the first organic companies in the area which, starting from the 2000s, has invested and believed in the research and development of pesticide-free agriculture which is based on the importance of protecting the land and the life that is part of it.
The farm has just under 3 hectares of vineyards from which approximately 10,000 bottles are produced per year, distributed mostly to private individuals and small importers throughout the world. There is also one hectare where the experimentation of natural regenerative agriculture is giving life to a project, which has just begun, of agroforestry for the production of vegetables and fruit.

Tasting and tour of the Il Cocco winery
We ask all our guests to present themselves at the Az. Agr. Coconut at least 10 minutes before the start of the visit/tasting.
In the event of a delay of more than 30 minutes compared to the booking time, it will not be possible to guarantee participation in the visit and/or tasting and the customer will not be entitled to a refund of any price paid.
Smoking is absolutely prohibited inside the cellar and tasting rooms. Access to children under 18 must be communicated in order to manage the number of participants as best as possible
