The dinner at Castello di Ama is a private invitation to experience the magic of the hamlet after sunset, embraced by the silence of the Chianti countryside. Without the guided tour, the experience focuses entirely on the union of our Great Wines and the authentic cuisine of our chefs, Ernesto and Giovanni.
The evening features a three-course seasonal set menu at €85 (cover charge, water, and coffee included), complemented by a dedicated wine list with an extensive selection of our labels available both by the glass and by the bottle.

The village of Ama lies in the heart of the Chianti Classico wine region, within the municipality of Gaiole in Chianti, one of the three historic towns of the Lega del Chianti. Its origins date back to the Middle Ages, and as early as the late 18th century, Grand Duke Pietro Leopoldo of Tuscany praised its land as being "kept in marvelous condition," recognizing its exceptional agricultural vocation.
Located one hour by car from Florence and half an hour from Siena, Ama is a place where time seems to stand still, surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, and centuries-old olive groves.
In 1976, four families from Rome chose Ama as the home of Castello di Ama, embarking on an ambitious project to restore this land to its former glory. On the southern slope of the hill, they built the winery, the beating heart of the estate’s wine production.
The village has preserved its authentic charm, with rustic dwellings and two grand 18th-century villas: Villa Pianigiani, which now houses the Enoteca and Ristoro, and Villa Ricucci, a residence steeped in history and memory.
Completing this place of tradition and beauty is the Arca building, the new welcome center for visitors, located next to the parking area nestled among the olive trees of Bellavista—the first step in discovering Ama.
