The Visit+Paired Meal experience is, for us, the highest way to get to know the magic of our place. After or before the guided tour of the estate, visiting the production areas, the aging cellar and the historic cellars of the medieval village of Ama, Guests will enjoy a daily prepared menu designed to enhance the tasting of the Castello di Ama's Fine Wines.

Along the entire route, the presence of the genius loci will be constant, materialized and made tangible by the site-specific installations that make up our Contemporary Art Collection.

Our point of view and the wines for tasting change every year: the experience is recommended also to those who have already visited us in the past.

"The symposium of San Lorenzo" experience is designed to combine a 3-course menu with a tasting itinerary designed as a discovery of the fundamentals of Castello di Ama. After or before the guided tour, Guests will be accompanied to one of the majestic rooms of Villa Pianigiani where the main part of the experience will begin.

Alongside the first course, the tasting begins with the immediate freshness of our Pinot Noir, "Il Chiuso", which perfectly manages to express the main characteristics of our terroir going beyond varietal pleasantness.

During the main course, the tasting then continues with our most representative wine: the "Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Castello di Ama San Lorenzo", proposed in one of the best vintages of recent years: '2018' and '2015'. This will not only be an opportunity to gain insight into this iconic wine, but also to explore the characteristics of two excellent vintages.

FOR THE 1pm THE VISIT WILL FOLLOW THE LUNCH (AROUND 2.30pm).

The company is located about 1 hour drive from Florence and about 30mins from Siena. We are in the historic town of Gaiole in Chianti, one of the three locations that historically represent the heart of the Chianti Classico.

The meeting will take place 15 minutes before the start of the visit in the "Arca" building, located at the beginning of the village, immediately after the parking lot among the olive trees.
