VISIT TO THE CATHEDRAL Tour and tasting of your choice of 3 or 6 wines €20/25

The Stile De'Ricci includes a guided tour of the historic winery in Montepulciano and tasting of 6 wines, with a small accompaniment.

Elegance, personality and sustainability will be the basis of your tastings!

 

We will guide you on a journey of 6 glasses, which you can choose after an explanation of our wines ranging from Vino Nobile di Montepulciano docg to the SorAldo selection to our igt Supertuscans: Il Vignone and Il Severo 

 

To better appreciate our wines we accompany the tasting with a small sampling of local products: Extra Virgin Olive Oil of our production, local cold cuts and cheeses.

 

You can participate in the experience if:

 

  • You have food intolerances, food allergies, or you are vegetarian/vegan (report it in the notes)
  • It is your first experience in the winery: we will guide you in tasting and advise you in pairings
  • You have mobility difficulties, the main access is an equestrian staircase consisting of 90 steps, but we have a secondary entrance, on the ground floor, without stairs
  • Do you have a leashed and muzzled pet with you (please report this in the notes)

For experiences with payment at the facility: La Selezione and Lo Stile De'Ricci. We request that you contact us and notify us within 24 hours of the experience evebtual time changes or cancellations in order to best arrange the experience for each of our guests. 

 

The following cancellation policy applies to prepayment or deposit experiences:

  • In case of cancellation by the guest no later than 36 hours before the date of service: another date can be booked based on our availability;

 

  • In case of cancellation of the service after the above deadline, De'Ricci Winery reserves the right not to refund the client the fee paid;

 

 

  • In case of cancellation by De'Ricci Winery due to exceptional or unforeseen business problems the service will be rearranged on another date to be agreed with the client in the next 12 months from the date of cancellation, no refund is therefore provided.

 

Useful Info:

 

  • We recommend to come at the winery 10 minutes before the start of the tour. 
  • We kindly ask you to be punctual: tour and tasting will not take place if you are more than 30 minutes late.

Interesting to know:

 

  • Visits daily by reservation, duration is about 75 minutes 
  • Temperature 15 - 16 °C - Appropriate clothing for cellar temperatures is recommended

The De'Ricci winery is located at Via Ricci 13, in the historic center of Montepulciano, a short walk from Piazza Grande.

 

The winery is within a traffic restricted area, we recommend taking directions to Montepulciano "Centro Storico" and leaving your car in the parking lots at:

 

  • Via dei Filosofi: Parcheggio8, Parcheggio il Bersaglio
  • Via San Donato: Parking San Donatocodice excise tax for wine
